Modeling in the water energy food nexus

In the context of the LIVES project (Linked Indicators for Vital Ecosystem Services), I have been fortunate enough to be involved in a number of the cutting-edge collaborative research activities led by the University of Geneva and its impressive rooster of partners.

On the one hand, we have further developed the participatory modeling workshops for farming and fishing communities. On the other hand, we are using the Mekong Flooded Forest (MFF) area simulation model not just for scenario analysis but also to study the vulnerability of the MFF landscape to climate change, population as well as economic dynamics.
